🧼 HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR TEE
Your State Twenty Eight tee is built to last— but a little TLC goes a long way!
Follow these steps and your shirt will stay vibrant through countless wears.
✅ WASHING
1️⃣ TURN IT INSIDE-OUT
This protects the print from friction.
(Most important step!)
2️⃣ COLD WATER ONLY
Hot water can fade colors and weaken
the print over time.
3️⃣ USE MILD DETERGENT
Skip the heavy-duty stuff. Gentle is best.
4️⃣ WASH WITH SIMILAR COLORS
Keep your darks with darks, lights with lights.
5️⃣ SKIP THE FABRIC SOFTENER
It can create a barrier that dulls the print.
🌀 DRYING
🌟 BEST: Air dry (hang or lay flat)
This is the #1 way to make your tee last forever.
✅ GOOD: Tumble dry on LOW heat
High heat can shrink the fabric and crack the print.
❌ AVOID: High heat dryer settings
It's the enemy of DTG prints!
🔥 IRONING (if needed)
- Iron INSIDE-OUT on low heat
- Never iron directly on the print
- Steam is fine, just avoid direct contact
🚫 AVOID
❌ Bleach (will ruin the print)
❌ Dry cleaning (unnecessary and harsh)
❌ Wringing/twisting (stretches the fabric)
❌ Washing inside-out without turning back

✅ Don't overload your washer
Gives your tee room to breathe
✅ Remove from washer ASAP
Prevents wrinkles and musty smells
✅ First wash = inside-out, cold water
Sets the print for long-term durability
